In 2001, we were pioneers in Spain in the creation of university studies for pilots. Today we are aware of what the market needs, a pilot with a strong aeronautical training and a broad command of English. That is why we have created, together with the prestigious School of Finance, the Aviation Business School program.

Our students can obtain aeronautical licenses in three years to gain access to EASA network airlines (countries with European licenses and countries that admit them outside the European Union), and a double university degree, Spanish and British. All this without leaving La Coruña and with a lot of English lessons (we are aware of the low level of English of young people when they star at our pilot school and that without knowing that language, there is no future in commercial aviation).

After completing this phase, the student can choose to join the labor market with his official aeronautical and academic degrees, or to study the fourth year to obtain a university degree as explained below (*), or to do an internship abroad.

AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT

The training for Airline Transport Pilot includes:

• Theoretical of Airline Transport Pilot License (frozen) (ATPL)
• Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
• Instrument Flight Rules certificate IR (A)
• Multi-engine Certificate ME(A)
• MCC course certificate
• Flight Instructor FI (A) (available on the 3rd-year course)

All these combined with the Aviation Business School courses and English lessons.

HIGHER STUDIES IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT

The student, in parallel to his studies of commercial pilot, assists at two official academic courses, an official double degree in Higher Technician in Administration and Finance (Official High Cycle) and Higher National Diploma in Business (HND, Official British Qualification).

UNIVERSITY DEGREE (*)

The two academic years of the HND in Business are validated as the first and second courses at nearly 30 universities in the UK. However, the School suggests to its students that after completing their studies in Spain they choose to take the third year at the Pearson College of London (validation partner of University of Kent), this would allow them to obtain a Bachelor in Business degree by the University of Kent.

TO WORK IN THE USA. ANOTHER OPTION FOR THE FOURTH YEAR

The school has agreements in the USA that allow our students to validate FAA licenses and join the FAA labor market as flight instructors in the United States for students who wish to do so. (This program is subject to space).
